Happy Release Day: "Moonlight" by Katie Salidas (An Immortalis Companion Novella)

It's that time!  Moonlight by Katie Salidas is Here!!!

Good girls don’t wear fur, or fight over men, and they certainly don’t run around naked, howling at the moon.

But then, no-one ever called Fallon a good girl.

As a human unofficially mated to an Alpha werewolf, Fallon is being pressured to “become”...or be gone.

Her mate Aiden, the interim leader of the Olde Town Pack, is in a position that demands he either choose a wolf mate...or leave the pack forever. No matter how hot the sex with Fallon is, he can’t ignore centuries of tradition.

Become a wolf or not. If only the choice were that simple. Fallon’s options are further clouded by the overt presence of other females desperate to be the Alpha’s mate. And when these bitches get serious, it’s not just claws that come out. If Fallon wants to keep her man and take the title she’ll have to exert a little dominance of her own.

Here's a sneak peek of Moonlight for your reading pleasure....

Someone knocked on the door, a soft almost tapping sound. It was my turn to growl, only this time it was out of frustration. I wasn’t ready to end our moment.

“I’m busy.” Aiden shouted to the door.

“Sorry, boss.” Diana said. “Micah is here and the rest of the council are meeting in the conference room.”

“Bad timing,” I grumbled.

“We’ll have to continue this later.” Aiden’s shoulders sagged.

“Do you want me to join you in council?”

“No. I need to give them the good news though. That should get them off my back. For now, you get that sexy ass into a shower and be ready for me to ravage you again later.” He stood and retrieved his boxers and pants.

“Is that all I am to you?” I joked as I sat up on the desk. “Your little play thing.”

“No, that’s just one of the perks.” He stole one last kiss and headed for the door. “I won’t be long. I promise.”

“You better not.”

He walked out, passed Diana and headed down the hallway. She stood in the doorway and once Aiden had walked out of sight turned to me and sneered. I sat proudly on top of Aiden’s desk, naked from the waist down, and crossed my legs.

“You think you’re untouchable, don’t you?” Diana spat at me.

“You’re treading a very thin line, lady.”

“Tough words for a human. I could shred you right here.”

“So do it. What are you waiting for? Oh, right… Aiden would have your head for that.”

“Accidents happen.” An evil glint shone in her eye and a smile spread across her face.

I wasn’t going to let her scare me. I glared back at her. “They do, don’t they? I’d feel terrible if my fist just accidentally found your face. Cut the crap. You don’t want me for an enemy.” As soon as I became Female Alpha, I planned to make her life hell.

“Why, because your fucking the boss?” She rolled her eyes. “Oh yes, I heard. Half the pack heard you. You’re quite the little slut, aren’t you? Just walking into the boss’s office and screwing him as loud as you can for all to hear. Bet you feel like you’re something hot, don’t you?”

I folded my arms in front of me.

“Lemme tell you a little secret. No one wants a human mating with the Alpha. The council won’t allow it, and I won’t stand for it.”

I smiled. “Well that’s just fine by me. I won’t remain a human for long.”

She scoffed. “Not everyone survives the transition. There are ways to swing the odds either way.”

“Are you threatening me?”

“Why? Are you scared?” She sashayed toward me. Her smug expression sent my blood boiling.

I gritted my teeth to stop me from saying anything else. I knew what she was doing, trying to get me to snap and she was dangerously close. I was no match for her yet, so I couldn’t challenge her to a fight, but once I transitioned, she would slowly and painfully eat every last word.

“I’m going to tell you one last time.” Her voice went deadly quiet. “Leave Aiden and this pack… for your own safety.”

I couldn’t help the shiver of fear that threatened to reveal itself. I turned away hoping to keep it hidden and give off the vibe that she was not worth my attention. “Get it through your head. Aiden and I are already mates,” I said with as much conviction as I could muster.

“You’ll never be his true mate.”

Something slammed hard into the back of my head. Before I could register the pain the world went dark and I felt myself freefalling into nothingness.

Oscar groaned as Delayna rubbed her husband’s ass, her signature move in seducing him. Even though Bo feigned sleep, the man’s twitching foot gave him away. Next, she would reach around to grasp his cock, and Oscar held his breath in anticipation of the move.

As her hand rode up Bo’s shaft, Oscar closed his eyes, imagining her fingers tightening ever so gently on him. Just enough to amplify his need. She dragged her thumb up the vein on the underside of his dick. Oh yeah. And then back down. If only….

He didn’t have to worry about going hard; the body he occupied was already made of stone.

The gargoyle statues around Delayna’s house and yard provided several bodies for him to occupy. He moved in spirit from figure to figure, watching her every day, hoping to eventually feel her touch, and Bo’s, too. He watched from the headboard tonight, waiting for the day he’d finally be set free.

She didn’t waste any time with foreplay. No, she’d already fingered herself to orgasm before involving her husband. Even with her small frame, she managed to flip Bo onto his back. She draped her leg across him, straddling his waist, and then eased with a sigh onto his fully engorged pole. Swaying her hips, she ground against him.

“That’s it, Del. Ride me like a fuckin’ cowboy.”

Oh, to be in Bo’s place. But tasting, savoring both of them would be even better. He yearned to stick his dick in someone’s empty mouth or ass. Flesh slapped against flesh. The musky scent of sex wafted into his nostrils, as if he was home with his own lovers.

Shit! Even though he remained as stone, desire rushed through what was left of him, centering in his non-existent groin. He craved a real body so he could stroke himself, get off somehow, and release all his sexual frustration, built up since he’d been cursed to this form, to this place.

Delayna rode Bo harder and harder, making the headboard shake. The banging inched Oscar closer to the edge. The heart he no longer possessed sped up. What would happen if he fell off, broke? Would he return to his world, or would his life be over?

His stone feet teetered on the edge.

“Oh, God, Bo, I’m so close.”

He wanted to revel in her upcoming orgasm, to imagine her pussy squeezing his tool, but he worried too much about his own end. With one final thrust, the headboard slammed the wall and he tumbled off, hitting Bo’s forehead with a thwack then fell to the ground.

Bo hollered, shoved Delayna off him then grabbed Oscar from the floor. “Goddammit. Now I’m going to have a goose egg from a fuckin’ gargoyle.”

Climbing off the bed, she reached for him, but Bo held him high in the air, out of her reach.

“I’m so sorry. Give him here, please.”

A mix of emotions washed across her face, ending with a frown. Was she worried about him or Bo? She reached up for him again, rubbing her sweaty, naked body against her husband’s bare chest.

Oscar forgot his predicament. He longed to be pressed between them, sucking on her perky tits or groping Bo’s big rod. Just a little lower.

CBLS Presents: "Crimson Footprints" by Shewanda Pugh with Giveaway!

Title: Crimson Footprints (Part I)
Author: Shewanda Pugh
Publisher: Delphine Publications
Length: 87,000 words
Genres: Contemporary Interracial/Multicultural Romance/Women's Fiction
Heat Level: Steamy

When an insecure, bi-racial woman begins a cloak-and-dagger love affair with a Japanese American man, she is intent on keeping her bigoted family in the dark—albeit with devastating consequences.

On the night of her brother’s murder, Deena Hammond stumbles upon Takumi Tanaka, lost and on the wrong end of a .32. After rescuing him from the certain fate driving through the hood in a Porsche will bring, a sweet kind of friendship begins. A balm for her grief. Maybe, Deena likes to think, it happened the day her white mother killed her black father. Or maybe, it was always a part of them, like DNA gone bad. Whatever the case, Deena knows that her family would never approve, hell, never acknowledge her fast-growing love for Takumi. And had he never made love to her that way, in that unraveling, soul-searching sort of way, she could’ve done the same.

But love’s a devil that way.

So, their game begins. One where they hide what they are from everyone. Anyone. And Tak understands this—for now. After all, Deena’s career hinges on the favor of her mentor and boss, his hard-ass of a father. And the Hammond family is already stretched thin with grief. Yet, each step Deena takes toward family and career brings her closer to an acceptance she’s never had. And away from him.

“I wish that I didn’t want my family’s love so bad. I wish I could be one of those people who wore leather jackets and didn’t give a damned.”

Tak shot her a look. “You’d be musty if you wore a leather jacket in this heat.”

Deena grinned. “You know what I mean.”

He shrugged. “Who doesn’t want a decent family, Dee? It’s not much to ask for.”

Tak paused to pluck a seashell from the sand. Chipped and polished by time, it shone under the glint of a fast setting sun. “I don’t know the answers,” he said. “But they seem to be in things like this,” he held up the shell.

She frowned. “I don’t follow.”

He shrugged. “Well think about it. What’s a shell? It’s just a—a hard, protective outer layer.” He hurled it in the ocean. “The same is true with family. They’re an outer layer, a protection from the world. At least that’s what they’re supposed to be.” He paused. “Think about what happens when you screw with an animal that has one of those hard shells. What does he do?”

“He goes into it.”

“Right. He retreats.” He thumbed the shell thoughtfully. “Now imagine if you were to rip the shell off a turtle and expose him. What do you think you’d find?”

Deena cringed. “Something soft and hurting.

“And dead, if not close to it. So, our hypothetical turtle, who’s able to stand our shell transplant, needs another shell, another form of protection. And so do you.” Tak handed the grooved and sand-polished subject to Deena. She looked down at it.

“So, how’ve I been surviving all this time? What’s my shell?”

Tak grinned. “Tell you what. I’ll let you know when I crack it.”

A slender, striking man of Asian descent was on the wrong end of Anthony’s .32. With arms raised, his hands were splayed in a show of defenselessness. His expression was calm, despite the growing crowd of onlookers and the pistol in his face. Behind him, an old woman made the sign of the cross.

“Anthony!” Deena cried, rushing towards them. Her brother cast a single sideways glance but kept his gun level.

“Get back in the house,” he said.

Deena turned her attention to the Asian man. She was struck by his eyes, wide and heavy-lidded. His mouth was generous, his square face softened by layers of thick black hair. He had boyish good looks and a long, lean athletic frame.

She was certain he was Japanese.

Deena turned to her brother. “Will you put that thing away?”

The two stared at each other, older sister, young brother, eyes narrowed. When he didn’t move, Deena stepped between the gun and the stranger, her eyes level with the barrel. Anthony lowered the gun with a sigh and Deena seized the opportunity to snatch it.

She turned to the stranger. “I assume that’s your car,” she said, nodding towards a sleek gray convertible parked haphazardly, a shiny nickel in a murky puddle. He nodded, his glossy black tresses falling into wide almond eyes.

“Yeah, um, about that.” He cleared his throat. “He uh, took my keys.”

Deena turned to her brother, hand extended. He dropped the keys in her palm with a sigh, a new Ferrari slipping from his grasp with reluctance.

She passed the keys to the stranger and their fingertips brushed. Something warm and foreign turned over in her and her lips parted in surprise. She thought she saw the makings of a smile in his eyes, but she dismissed it. He took the keys and thanked her. And as she watched him peel off with the top down on his sleek convertible, Deena’s pulse skittered then and long after.

5.0 out of 5 stars - Romance at its best!

“Shewanda Pugh describes her debut novel as a "literary romance," and after reading and thoroughly enjoying it, I can say with conviction that she has artfully mastered the skill of storytelling. Her characters are genuine and complex. The story that she presents is real, and the issues wrapped in that story and in those characters are authentic to real life situations.

She presents her readers with the story of forbidden love, comparable to a modern day version of Romeo and Juliet. In her version, Romeo is Japanese and Juliet is a bi-racial blend of black and white. The two come from different worlds, but still find that ounce of magic that sets them down the path of passion, devotion, and above all, true love. The secondary stories that Pugh includes in the novel add substance to the story, laying out the consequences and outcomes that result from the way in which an individual chooses to live his or her life. All characters in the novel demonstrate an evolution from start to end, especially the heroine, Deena. It was both a joy and a frustration to follow her path of self-discovery and self worth.

Crimson Footprints is a very good read and highly recommended. It's nicely paced, never a dull moment. The essence of the story is heightened not only by the emotion and beauty of the story, but also by Pugh's ability to set the scene through her use of imagery. I loved every word, every sentence, and every page of this book. Her debut novel is definitely one of my favorite reads this year, and I can honestly say I cannot wait to read what's next from Shewanda Pugh.”-- Jamee Pritchard, The Kindle Book Review

5.0 out of 5 stars - Hot Powder Keg: Tri-racial Romance Crosses All Boundaries!

“Wow, wow, and triple wow! I absolutely love Deena, even though I can see why her family thinks she's uptight and uppity. But gosh, I can so relate to her as someone who never really belonged anywhere, always an outsider, always at arms length, and unable to let fly and be herself.

In steps confident, brash, and hedonistic Tak Takumi, who just happens to be Deena's boss's playboy son. Charming, rich, and NICE, Tak sweeps Deena off her feet in a whirlwind romantic tour around the United States. He indulges her, caters to her, understands her and puts up with her insecurities.

While Deena's busy proving her architectural genius to Tak's father and hiding Tak from her family craziness, she inadvertently hurts Tak, the source of her newfound confidence and well-being by denying him the validation he needs. Tak is pushed to the limits of his tolerance and love, and in one explosive moment, Deena comes face to face with life without him.

This story was multi-faceted in so many ways. Both families were mixed up and dysfunctional in so many ways. Secrets, vendettas, hatred and prejudice, guilt, regret, neglect, and abuse, cruel words, bitterness and the taint of murder simmer in a toxic mix of volatile emotions and riotous scenes.

Deena turns out to be stronger than she thought, and while not everything was resolved (which is as it should be), many relationships were repaired and Deena walks away richer with the love, acceptance and support she always craved.”-- Clare Chu

4.0 out of 5 stars - An Engrossing Read... “Crimson Footprints is a good read. Deanna is a young woman who achieves success despite her family and the world she grew up in. She is an architect in a prestigious firm and has the faith of her boss but hides her talent and ability by accepting mediocre work. She is surrounded by a family that constantly feeds her negativity and guilt; suffering tremendous loss and rejection as a child and later on as an adult. She finds friendship that later blossoms into love all the while juggling the demands of her job and family. Her forbidden love affair fuels her confidence and strength in herself only to have it all come crashing down in a matter of seconds; only then causing her to reflect and become the woman she so dreamed to be. To realize that she deserves to love and be loved no matter if her family or anyone else accepts her. The author develops this story quickly with characters that are complex and convincing. As I began to read this book, I found myself being sucked into Deanna's world. Her insecurities mirrored a lot of my own and I identified with the characters in a lot of ways. I enjoyed this book so much I read it in one sitting. I wanted to give it 5 stars but unfortunately there were some language errors, typos, and repeats of sentences in a couple chapters. I am recommending this book to my friends. We all need to be reminded of what is important in life and to be loved is something we all seek.”-- janxcdlily

Cover Reveal and Excerpt: Elizabeth Hunter's "Building From Ashes" (An Elemental World Novel)

Coming on October 23rd, the first book in the expanded Elemental World series
by Elizabeth Hunter

For a thousand years, powerful earth vampire Carwyn ap Bryn has served others. God. His family. His friends. But tragedy and loss disrupt his peaceful existence, causing him to question everything he has committed his eternity to.

Brigid Connor has known about vampires since they rescued her from a painful childhood. But not even their vast elemental power can save her from the demons that torment her.

As loyalties are tested and new paths are forged, a lurking danger slowly grows in the Elemental World. Carwyn and Brigid will learn that even secrets revealed can come back to haunt you when you least expect it.

She focused on the flames as the dog’s excited barks grew. Soon, he was circling a rise in the hill, jumping and dancing in the moonlight.
“Madoc?” What was he on about? He never reacted like this when Tavish was approaching. “What is it, you mad beast?”
The fire drifted away, and Brigid’s heart began to pick up a slow beat as she saw the ground shift under Madoc’s feet. What the—
The ground burst open with a shout as Madoc pounced. Brigid ran over, her arms lit, ready to burn whatever had attacked her dog. She immediately halted when she heard the familiar laugh and the loud voice.
“I heard you barking from twenty feet below, you mad hound! Haven’t you ever heard of the element of surprise? I’ll not be taking you on any missions of stealth, you can be sure of that.”
His dark red hair was flaked with dirt, and his skin was black with mud, but when Carwyn turned to her, there was no mistaking his vivid blue eyes. She broke into a smile just as he rose to his feet. She started toward him, but he only held up a finger.
“One moment,” he said with a grin. Then he stripped off his shirt, tossed it onto grass and dove into the water with glee. Madoc barked along the edge of the lake, waiting for his master to emerge.
He was back.
Her heart was racing now. Did he remember it had been a year? Did he come back for her?
She banished the thought from her mind. Of course he didn’t come back for her. Not like that. He was watching out for her. Like… a priest. Or a friend. Which he was. A priest. A friendly priest.
Then he rose from the lake, the water scattering from his arms as he pushed back his unruly wet hair. Rivulets ran over the dark freckles on his shoulders and down his torso. Thick muscles flexed as the cool moon reflected off the solid planes of his chest. Dark red hair ran in a line down his flat stomach and into dripping wet trousers that covered his hips and muscular legs. Brigid was struck again by his size. Carwyn was enormous. Tall as a small tree and solid as the earth he controlled. He should have been intimidating. But he wasn’t.
He was back.
Damn it.
Priest! Her mind yelled. But Father Jacob didn’t look anything like that. Had Carwyn always had so many muscles? There seemed to be more than the last time she had seen him. Did that happen with vampires? Had he been… working out? He strode toward her with a smile.
“Surprised to see me? Despite this mutt’s warning?”
“Um…” Wasn’t there some rule that priests had to be thin and academic?
Or fat and jolly? Safe and approachable?
Carwyn was standing in front of her. “Are you all right?”
“I’m… fine!” she squeaked.
“Are you sure? Sorry I gave you a start.”
She squeezed her eyes shut. Father Carwyn ap Bryn was approachable, all right, but not for any reasons the pope would approve of.

CBLS Barrage: "Lustful Cravings" (Seven Sin Sisters, Book #1) by Paloma Beck

Lustful Cravings (Seven Sin Sisters, Book One)

Author: Paloma Beck
Publisher: Secret Cravings Publishing
Length: 96 pages
Genre(s): Erotic Paranormal Romance (M/F/M)
Heat Level: Sizzling

Seven sisters are entwined in a legacy bigger than anyone ever expected. One by one, they will find their mates from the immortal Valendite breeds and secure their place in history. Each sister embodies one of the seven deadly sins only to be cast aside once claimed. But claiming comes at the price of separation, causing a weakening of their combined powers, which none want to happen... until Layla, holding the sin of lust within her body, locks eyes with Madden.

Madden is one of the strongest of the Valendite Breed, a group of near-immortal men originating from the Italian Wars in the 1500s. Today, the Valendite Breed serve as the Terrorist Elimination Unit (TEU), an invisible arm of the CIA. Their only weakness is their need for a mate to carry on the Breed. So now that Madden has found Layla, he will never let her go.

With forces mounting up against the Breed, Madden and Layla will need to rely on all of their powers combined to get them to their Pronouncement.

Madden traced the Magdalena Circle sign just above Layla’s right breast with his tongue. The sign showed Layla’s soul sin was lust, which meant until meeting him she’d not experienced such sexual desire. Layla must have known that he was her mate immediately by her desire at the bar when they first saw each other. Madden understood why she ran. Such intense feelings after so many years of life with no type of desire must’ve been frightening.

Madden continued to lick and suck at the spot that bore her sign as her moans grew louder. Clearly, this felt good to her. Perhaps the skin near her sign was sensitive. Madden grinned at the thought as he watched Layla whimper with desire and toss her head back and forth against the pillow. Madden’s own desire grew with each sound from his mate. He grunted as he moved down the length of her body, licking from her breasts to her belly button where he swirled his tongue around until she called out his name, “Madden. Madden.” He loved his name on her lips as she looked so thoroughly flushed.

“What is it, Layla love?”

“I need more.” Layla spoke so quietly, so timidly, Madden knew she was uncertain. He couldn’t wait to be the man who brought out her confidence in bed, the one who taught her how to find satisfaction for all her sexual needs.

“Then I will give you more,” Madden moved further down to the tiny thatch of curls just above her core. He rubbed his nose into her curls and smelled the rich aroma of her desire. It was like chocolate and honey, tickling his nose and causing his hunger to multiply. He sat up on his knees and looked up her body before placing one hand on her belly and moving his other to stroke her curls, skimming the apex of her core as he readied her for him.

With one finger, he explored deeper, pressing along her wet folds. Layla shook beneath his hand but he kept her still. “No moving, love. Just enjoy.” Suddenly right where he wanted to be, Madden felt in no hurry. Time stood still as he prepared her for him. She grew wetter as her sweet moans grew louder and he knew he’d always remember this one moment when he claimed his mate.

“It is incredible. I can feel not only my own desire but yours as well,” Layla’s high-pitched voice fought for the breath to finish her words.

“Yes, my need and your need. They’re connected. It’s part of the claiming, Layla love.” If possible, Madden grew even harder as he let himself consider being bound to someone so seemingly perfect for eternity.

Madden smiled, allowing his need to wash through him so he could hold onto this moment. She was perfect for him. He sank one finger deep inside her channel and she pushed against his hand again. He palmed his own erection with a promise of more to come.

“Please. Please. Please,” Layla began chanting and ended his resolve. From all the wetness on his fingers, he imagined she must be ready for him. He brought his moist fingers to his lips and licked them, sucking them into his mouth as Layla watched. Her eyes were sparkling. Small embers released from them like lightning bugs in the night sky. It was her magic and it was beautiful.

Madden secured her knees in each of his arms and placed himself at her core, opening her to his body and slowly pushed himself inside. Working to control his own need, he shifted just an inch at a time and allowed her to accommodate him slowly. Their eyes remained connected and he was vigilant for any sign of discomfort. It would destroy him to know he’d caused her pain.

Just when he felt a slight resistance and knew he was at her barrier, Madden used his fingers to arouse her clit, bring the flood of pleasure to that small tip, and push Layla to the edge of orgasm. He watched as first she tried to understand the feelings flooding her and then to fight them. Finally, Layla simply gave herself over to him. Just as she was going over the edge, he pushed himself farther inside and she screamed out her first orgasm. There would be more tonight.

Saph's Review:

Holy Smokes! This book is excellent!!

Serafina (Sera) MacBride is a psychic, and owner of Serafina's Psychic Investigations Agency. When she's hired by a former prominent banker, Ferdinand (Ferdy) Bell, to track down a family stalker, she knows he's hiding something from her. He all but indicates that the being that's doing the stalking is a vampire, and while Sera believes in ghosts, she does not believe in vampires. In order to prove their non-existence, Sera and her crew; Tam, Jilly, and Jack, put together an elaborate scheme to frighten Ferdy the night of a large social gathering. As the plan is being put into motion, Sera is shocked to find Tam, a key player, with a gorgeous man latched to his throat; a gorgeous man that apparently only she can hear speaking. Unfortunately, while Sera is assisting Tam in removing the leech from his throat, Jason, Ferdy's son, is killed in the garden of Ferdy's home.

Or so they thought, until Jason't body disappears and he returns home the following evening like nothing ever happened. Curious about not only Jason's magical reappearance but Blair, the silent vampire, Sera continues to investigate what the heck just flipped her non-believing world upside-down.

As all of this transpires, Blair, the vamp found attached to Tam, is dealing with problems of his own. He dwells in boredom--having and extraordinarily long life tends to do that. His normally uneventful life is turned upside down with the appearance of an unknown vampiress in his territory. Worst of all?....She's not alone. Someone is creating vampires in mass droves and it's up to him to figure out who is doing it and why.

Still reeling from the fact that vampires truly do exist, Sera finds herself hunting Blair down for more information. When it's revealed that the other vampires invading her little town are up to no good and plan on taking over, one financial institution at a time, she knows she must team up with the only vampire she knows...Blair. Her character, as well as Blair's, are written so well that they felt real. Some of terms used were unfamiliar to me, I'm sure that's because the author lives in Scotland, but it didn't detract from the novel at all. I found myself drawn to the book long after having to stop reading because real life took the reins.

The heat between Blair and Sera is so undeniable, yet that's what Sera does...she tries to deny it. And Blair, now that he's finally found a reason to keep living, discovers that the financial vamps may just want him dead. Their relationship (or however you would like to define them) creates a sense of normalcy within the crazy world written between the pages. Blair is broody, moody, and as badass as they come, but meeting Sera brings out feelings in him that one would assume got lost the further you were from your humanity.

The background provided on Sera was excellent and explained a lot about her character. Her hesitancy to acknowledge any feelings for Blair aren't just based on his being a vampire. She discovers that much about what she's been told about her past is indeed not factual. There is a plot twist concerning these facts later on in the novel, and while it's sort of hinted at and expected, it doesn't detract. Not all revelations need to be blunt and shocking. Ms. Treanor does a great job developing this.

The cast of supporting characters are charming in their own right, as well.

I'm am really anticipating Serafina, Book 2 and hope it continues the greatness that is Sera and Blair.
